This application would highlight public art in Portland. It would contain images and other information on the artworks in the city's public art collection, and suggest artworks to visit based on the user's proximity or preferences (such as artist, style, medium, year, etc). It could suggest walking tours and transit lines with interesting artworks along the way.

Locate parks and other public green space, including details about specific trails and access points as well as information about native plants, animals, etc and nature spots on the trails like the Audubon Society and the World Forestry Center. Could also include things like community gardens, farmers markets, green streets, etc.

As with a calorie counter, the user inputs activities over the course of a day (meals, transportation, significant home/work energy use, goods purchased, etc.) and the app tallies lifecycle carbon emissions. This idea was identified from staff members of the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability.
